Home Visits

Doctor's bag

If your illness prevents you from attending the surgery, a home visit may be arranged by telephoning 01382 228228. Except in emergencies, please phone before 10:00 on the day of request if at all possible. The reception staff will ask you some details of your problem as this will allow the doctor to plan the visits and take any necessary equipment along. Please remember to give the full address and telephone number.

Home visits are made at the discretion of the GP and are only for those patients who are unable to attend the surgery.

Home visits will be made by the GP from 10:00am onwards.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years of age.
